Faraya to Sannine Summit Sturgeon Supermoon Night Hike With LOA

Join us this Saturday for a challenging Sunset & Sturgeon Supermoon Night Hike to Mt. Sannine.

Mt. Sannine is Lebanon’s third-highest peak. Our walk will begin at “Warde” at 2000m, where we will take a footpath that will take us via “Jabal Deeb” and the trail of the seven crosses until we reach Sannine’s summit at 2528m. We’ll take several breaks to enjoy the Sturgeon Supermoon at 94%, stargazing constellations, and shooting stars before returning to Mzaar and finishing our journey at the Junction parking lot at an elevation of 1894m.

Why Sturgeon Supermoon? The full Moon of August is traditionally called the “Sturgeon Moon.” it is named after North America’s largest fish, the sturgeon. and Supermoon is when it is as near to Earth as it gets (making it appear bigger and brighter).
