Dear Lebanese Outdoor Adventurers, join us this Sunday for a unique & colorful trail in Horsh Ehden Nature Reserve and its highlands.
DESCRIPTION: Horsh Ehden is a nature reserve located in North Lebanon. It contains a particularly diverse and beautiful remnant forest of Cedars of Lebanon, making the reserve a very important part of the country’s cultural and natural heritage. Our hike will start at an altitude of 1500m and we will reach 2050m. We will pass by beautiful landscapes and we will have short breaks (water and lunch break), rest and take some exceptional photos of the amazing views we will see on our way. We will take the footpath which leads to the upper reaches of the reserve, where we can enjoy spectacular views and admire the breathtaking scenery.
EQUIPMENT REQUIRED: To be prepared for this hike, you will need:
Contribution: 18 USD or equivalent market rate in LBP to include: Transportation, LOA guides, and first aid kit but does not cover medical insurance. Entrance fees to Ehden Forest Nature Reserve: (For Lebanese: 200,000 LBP & For foreigners: 500,000 LBP)
