Dear Lebanese Outdoor Adventurers (LOA), join us this Sunday for an amazing snowshoeing trail in Sannine and Zaarour Mountain.
HIKE DESCRIPTION: We will start our hike at the bottom of “Zaarour” at an altitude of 1700m. We will follow an easy path up to the first cross passing by Saint Charbel and Virgin Mary statues. Then we will follow the trail to reach a second cross, before reaching the summit at an altitude of 1850m, where we will enjoy a panoramic view surrounded by Faqra, Mzaar, Sannine, Baskinta Valley, Kneisseh and mount Hermont far behind Kneisseh. We will then head towards Sannine Village via a long ridge on the mountain’s north side.
To be prepared for this hike, you will need:
Contribution: 18 USD + 10 USD = 28 USD or equivalent market rate in LBP (including raquette & hiking stick rental, transportation, guidance, but does not cover for medical insurance)
