Join us this Sunday on a new adventure to explore Chabrouh Dam Highlands, Hrajel Cross, and Faraya Waterfall.
HIKE DESCRIPTION: The Chabrouh Dam, located above the town of Faraya, was inaugurated in 2007. The dam has a height of 63 metres. The reservoir has an 8 million cubic metre capacity and a length of around 1300 metres.
Our hike will begin at the Chabrouh dam, which is 1600 metres above sea level. We will go along the dam and then climb to the famous rock above the dam to take photos. Then we head to Hrajel Cross at an elevation of 1850m. Then we’ll start descending towards a wonderful path that is part of LMT Section 13, which will lead us to the Faraya waterfall and its wooden bridges before returning to the starting point.
