Join us this Sunday for a snowshoeing trail from Arz to Bekaa Kafra.
The trail starts from Arz el Rab at an altitude of 1987m. It passes by the Arz Cedars forest and goes down the valley to reach Bekaa Kafra, which is the highest village in Lebanon at an altitude of 1541m. On our way, we will visit the statue of St. Charbel, and the trail will end at Our Lady of Bekaa Kafra, where those who like can visit St. Charbel’s birthplace. This trail will include multiple short breaks to enjoy nature and the scenery. The name Bekaa Kafra comes from the Syriac and means “flat spot”. It is the birthplace of Saint Charbel. UNESCO classified it as a typical traditional Lebanese village.
