Dear Lebanese Outdoor Adventurers, join us this Monday for a Beautiful journey through the trails of Aïntoûra.
HIKE DESCRIPTION: Our hike will be a combination of three amazing yet challenging trails: Darb El Qana, Darb El Moujawkal, and Darb El Kamar.
We will start our hike in Aintoura, where we will take a footpath surrounded by agricultural scenery towards Darb el Qana, a newly renovated trail with a unique hidden path along a dry riverbed up towards Deraaoun Harissa. From there, we will take the Darb El Moujawkal trail, where we will walk alongside a water source and visit old houses and an ancient fountain. The trail will lead us toward Bkerkeh. Finally, we will begin our descent towards the starting point via Darb el Kamar.

• Meeting point: 7@ Jal-el-Dib, behind DHL, at the parking lot.
• Departure: 7:30 AM SHARP! (Personal Cars – 11km from Jal El dib)
• Breakfast stop on our way (15 minutes)
To be prepared for this hike, you will need:
• Hiking shoes
• Hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses
• Lightweight windproof /waterproof jacket
• Healthy snacks (sandwiches, energy bars, dried fruits, nuts…).
• Water (2,5 liters)
• Backpack and hiking sticks
• ID & personal insurance cards.
Contribution: 10 USD or equivalent market rate in LBP. This amount includes guides but does not include medical insurance or transportation.
