Join us this Sunday for a splashy trail to Ammiq Wetland.
HIKE DESCRIPTION: The trail starts from Tawlet Ammiq in West Bekaa. We will have a breathtaking view of the Bekaa Valley and its fields from the top of the mountain. We will continue to reach our destination at Ammiq Wetland. The Ammiq Wetland is the largest remaining freshwater reserve in Lebanon. This reserve is a natural spot that remains an important staging and wintering area for migratory waterbirds en route between Europe and Africa. This expedition will include multiple short breaks to enjoy nature and the scenery.
To be prepared for this hike, you will need:
Contribution: 25 USD or equivalent market rate in LBP to include: LOA guides, transportation, but does not cover medical insurance. (There is a 5$ extra entrance fee to Ammiq Wetland Reserve.)
