Dear Lebanese Outdoor Adventurers (LOA), join us this Saturday for a magical Sunset hike in Zaarour.
HIKE DESCRIPTION: The Zaarour area is ideal for chill hikes, it is known for its amazing sunset sceneries. We will start our hike at the bottom of “Zaarour” at an altitude of 1700m. We will follow an easy path up to the first cross, passing by statues of Saint Charbel and the Virgin Mary. Then we will follow the trail to a second cross before reaching the summit at an altitude of 1850m, where we will enjoy a panoramic sunset view surrounded by Faqra, Mzaar, Sannine, Baskinta valley, Kneisseh, and Mount Hermon, far behind Kneisseh. Then we will head back to the starting point, enjoying a peaceful walk along a lower trail on the south side of the mountain.
We will have a full sunset break to enjoy the panoramic sunset landscape, so you can bring with you your favorite drink & nuts.
To be prepared for this hike, you will need:
Contribution: 25 USD or equivalent market rate in LBP to include: Transportation, LOA guides, and a first aid kit, but does not cover medical insurance.
