Dear Lebanese Outdoor Adventurers (LOA), come hike with us this Saturday for a special sunset adventure from Bakish toward Sannine and Baskinta.
HIKE DESCRIPTION: We’ll begin at Qanat Bakish, walk through the Bakish Cedar forest, and head down into the valley. Starting at 1830 meters above sea level, we’ll follow a dirt road up to the highest spot on the trail to watch an amazing sunset with views of the sea, Sannine Mountain, and the Matn area. Our path will bring us to Mekhael Neaaymeh’s memorial garden, where we’ll visit and finish our hike. Along the way, we’ll take several short breaks to soak in the nature and scenery.
To be prepared for this hike, you will need:
Contribution: 25 USD or equivalent market rate in LBP to include: Transportation, LOA guides, Local LMT Guide and first aid kit, but does not cover medical insurance.
