Dear Lebanese Outdoor Adventurers, Join us this Sunday for a unique hike from Bqaatouta to Faqra. (LMT section 13) and Ahlam Village Ezer Forest
Kfardebian is located in the Keserwan District of the Mount Lebanon Governorate. It is located 45 kilometers north of Beirut. The trail starts in Bqaatouta by the river at the altitude of 1242 m, we will walk by the river bank then we will take a small path going up towards the Roman temple of Fakra where we will have our lunch break before continuing towards the Old Bridge of Kfardebyan at the altitude of 1627m. Then we will move by bus to “Ahlam Village” for an additional lovely hike in the Ezer forest, This trail goes along section 13 of the LMT. This hike will include multiple short breaks to enjoy nature and the scenery.
• Level: Moderate
• Hiking duration: 5 Hours
• Distance: 12 km
• Altitude Range: 1242m – 1620m
• Meeting: Sunday 15th of December 2024 at 7:00 am, Jal-el-Dib, behind DHL, at the parking lot. (We can pick up the hikers who live on our way)
• Departure: 7:30 am (SHARP).
• Breakfast stop on our way (15 minutes).
• Estimated time of arrival back in Beirut: 5:00 pm
To be prepared for this hike, you will need:
• Hiking shoes (waterproof)
• Buff/ Beanie / Warm headwear / Warm gloves
• Lightweight windproof /waterproof jackets
• Healthy snacks (sandwiches, energy bars, nuts).Water (2 liters)
• Backpack / Hiking sticks
• ID & personal insurance cards.

Contribution: 18 USD or equivalent market rate in LBP to include: LOA guides, and transportation, but does not cover medical insurance.
