Dear Lebanese Outdoor Adventurers, Join us this Sunday for a unique hike from Bqaatouta to Faqra. (LMT section 13)
Kfardebian is located in the Keserwan District of the Mount Lebanon Governorate. It is located 45 kilometers north of Beirut. The trail starts in Bqaatouta by the river at an altitude of 1242 m. We will walk by the riverbank, then we will take a small path going up towards the Roman temple of Fakra, where we will have our lunch break before continuing towards the Old Bridge of Kfardebyan at an altitude of 1627m. This trail goes along Section 13 of the LMT. This hike will include multiple short breaks to enjoy nature and the scenery.
To be prepared for this hike, you will need:
Contribution: 20 USD or equivalent market rate in LBP to include: LOA guides, transportation, but does not cover medical insurance.
