Darb Mar Charbel Section A4 with Lebanese Outdoor Adventures – LOA

Join us this Sunday for Darb Mar Charbel Section A4, from Saint Daniel Church in Hadath al Jebeh to Saint Anthony Monastery in Wata Houb.

Hike Description: Darb Mar Charbel – Section A4 is a moderate-plus level mountain hike from Hadath al Jebeh to Wata Houb. It takes us through cedar and pine forests, stone paths, and wide views of northern Lebanon. Along the way, we will enjoy fresh mountain air, peaceful scenery, and charming village landscapes. This section is known as “The Journey of Peace” for its calm, meaningful atmosphere. We will also pass through the Arz Al-Bilad cedar forest, the Silent Kilometer, and Al-Fawwar Valley. Rivers, waterfalls, and other natural features will make the hike even more beautiful and memorable.

• Level: Moderate Plus / Hiking duration: 7 hours
• Distance:  13 km
• Elevation Gain/Loss: +735 – 875
• Altitude Range: 1770 – 1350m
• Meeting: at 7:00 am, Jal-el-Dib, behind DHL, at the parking lot.
• We can pick up the hikers who live on our way
• Departure: 7:30 am (SHARP).
• Breakfast stop on our way (15 minutes).
• Estimated time of arrival back in Beirut: 6:30 pm

To be prepared for this hike, you will need:

• Hiking boots, headwear,
• sunscreen & sunglasses
• Lightweight weatherproof jackets
• Healthy snacks – Water (3 liters)
• ID & personal insurance cards.

Contribution: 25 USD to include: Transportation, LOA guides and first aid kit but does not cover medical insurance.
