Ehmej Ezer Forest to Laqlouq Colorful Hike with Lebanese Outdoor Adventures – LOA

Join us this Sunday for a colorful trail from Ehmej forest to Laqlouq.

HIKE DESCRIPTION: We will start our trail from Ehmej forest. Ehmej, meaning “the hidden place” is renowned for its unspoiled forests, jagged peaks, wild orchards, and junipers. We will enjoy panoramic views of botanical beauties, the “Ezer Forest” and green hills. The trail is charmingly diverse, with a mixture of landscapes.  We will enjoy the whiff of wild herbs and thyme, and fun awaits those who want a colorful Sunday with us. The hike will end in Laqlouq village.

• Level: Moderate Plus
• Hiking duration: 5.5 Hours
• Distance:  12 km
• Total Ascent:600m /Total Descent:300m
• Altitude range:1250 to 1800m
• Meeting: at 7:00 am, Jal-el-Dib, behind DHL, at the parking lot.
• We can pick up the hikers who live on our way.
• Departure: 7:30 am (SHARP).
• Breakfast stop on our way (15 minutes).
• Estimated time of arrival back in Beirut: 5:30 pm

To be prepared for this hike, you will need:

• Hiking Boots
• Warm Hat/Beanie/Gloves
• Lightweight windproof /waterproof jacket
• Healthy snacks (sandwiches, energy bars, dried fruits, nuts…)Water (2 liters)
• Hiking sticks
• ID & personal insurance cards.
• Don’t forget your positive vibes and smile J

Contribution: 18 USD or equivalent market rate in LBP to include LOA guides and transportation, but does not cover medical insurance.
