Dear Lebanese Outdoor Adventurers, join us this Sunday for a historic and colorful hike in Jabal Moussa Reserve: (Ehmez-Qornet el Mzaar-Yahchouch Cross-Old Houses)
We will start our hike at Baydar el-Shawk entrance (1400m) with an uphill path that will lead us towards Bir el Masbek. We will see an old water cistern found carved in the karstic rocks, from there we will go uphill towards Qornet el Mzar (1600m), the highest summit of Jabal Moussa that shelters ruins of a Roman temple with a panoramic view on the diverse landscapes surrounding Jabal Moussa. We will continue to walk an easy downhill hike towards the Cross of Yahchouch that was erected by Yahchouch youths on the summit of Jabal Moussa, overlooking the historical Adonis Valley. We will also explore the old Houses. After the houses and the cistern visit, we will walk uphill until we reach again Bir el Masbek, before heading back to the starting location to end the hike.

Contribution: 20 USD or equivalent market rate in LBP to include: LOA guides, transportation, but does not cover medical insurance. There is a 4$ extra entrance fee to Jabal Moussa Reserve.
