Dear Lebanese Outdoor Adventurers (LOA), join us this Saturday for a unique sunset hike in Kafarakab.
HIKE DESCRIPTION: Kafarakab in Arabic, the home of the hawk, is a surprising beautiful Metn village, nestled at the foot of Mount Sannine and overlooking the interlaced hills and valleys of Mount Lebanon. In this charming village with a minimalist aspect, the Lebanese houses, the typical pines of the region, the orchards, and the charming alleys form a neat ensemble where special attention is paid to detail. The rural landscape is emphasized by the hiking trails that crisscross the mountain as an invitation to a total immersion in nature.
Our hike will start in the village. From there, we will take a path through agricultural parcels and a pine forest to reach the highest point of the hike, from which we will experience a breathtaking sunset view, overlooking the interlaced hills and valleys of Mount Lebanon. We will end our hike back in the village. This expedition will include multiple short breaks to enjoy nature and the scenery.

Contribution: 20 USD or equivalent market rate in LBP to include: Transportation, LOA guides, Local LMT Guide, and first aid kit, but does not cover medical insurance.
