Join us this Saturday on a colorful adventure to explore Houet el Dara, Daher el Mtein, and the Jurd of Majdel Tarchich.
HIKE DESCRIPTION: Majdel Tarchich is a village in Mount Lebanon at an elevation of 1459m. The highlight of this trail will be “Houet el Dara,” the hidden caves, sinkholes, and crater of Majdal Tarchich. We will pass by ponds, cliffs, beautiful rock formations, and dense agricultural areas. We will also be enjoying a breathtaking panoramic view along the hike over Wadi el Amine, Sannine Mountain, Zaarour Mountain, and Wadi el Manzoul. The trail will be a loop and will include multiple short breaks to enjoy nature and the scenery.
To be prepared for this hike, you will need:
Contribution: 20 USD or equivalent market rate in LBP to include: Transportation, LOA guides, and first aid kit, but does not cover medical insurance.
