Valley of the Lambs Hike with LOA

Join us this Sunday for a unique trail from Mazraat Et Touffah to Mrah Kfar Zghab.

Our hike will start at “Mazraat Et Touffah” where we can enjoy the view of the famous village waterfalls at an altitude of 916m. We will walk along old footpaths to reach Rachta Aamout , we will follow a 4km-long footpath that will take us up to Hmeiss village, then continue through Wadi El Ara2ir, a valley known for its wide variety of trees and beautiful footpaths to end the hike in St. Shalita Monastery where we will take old footpaths to reach the village of “Mrah Kfar Zghab” at an altitude of 354m. Mazraat Et Touffah is a village in Zgharta District at an altitude of 916m.

• Hiking duration: 4 Hours
• Distance:  11.5km
• Altitude range: 354 to 916 m
• Total Descent: 670m
• Meeting: Sunday 12th of January 2025 at 7:00 am, Jal-el-Dib, behind DHL, at the parking lot. (We can pick up the hikers who live on our way)
• Departure: 7:30 am (SHARP).
• Breakfast stop on our way (15 minutes)
• Estimated time of arrival back in Beirut: 5:30 pm

To be prepared for this hike, you will need:

• Hiking shoes,
• Lightweight windproof jacket
• Warm gloves and headwear.
• Hiking Sticks.
• Healthy snacks (sandwiches, energy bars, dried fruits, nuts)
• Water 2 Liters
• ID & personal insurance cards.
• Don’t forget your positive vibes and smile 🙂

Contribution: 18 USD or equivalent market rate in LBP to include: LOA guides, and transportation, but does not cover medical insurance.
